The Atlas 408SL super deluxe portable vehicle storage lift is designed for those car enthusiasts who demand the absolute best look and superior quality. The Atlas 408SL has all the great features of our Atlas Garage Pro Series 4 post hobbyist lifts, but incorporates many features found only on our Atlas commercial grade 4-post lifts. All columns incorporate two special bends which help to increase the column strength. These strategic bends also increase the surface area for the slide block to travel. Horizontal cables are "hidden" inside of the cross tubes. Professional grade wheel covers are used to eliminate almost all exposure of cables and double lock system. The Atlas 408SL has "more metal" and weighs over 100 lbs. more than other hobbyist lifts based upon the same column and runway configuration.

The Atlas 408SL is built to the same commercial lift standards as our Atlas 412 and Atlas 414 four post lifts, but also offers portability (Caster Kit sold separately).

Single Point Lock Release - This Atlas Storage Lift has a manual single point release that allows the operator to release all the safety locks at one time. The spring loaded lock handle and power unit dump valve must be activated at the same time. (two hand operation) If the lock handle is released and the dump valve handle is still being pressed, the lift will continue to descend and all locks will automatically re-engage at the next lower lock point.

Double Lock Safety System - This Atlas Lift locking system offers a unique two position locking mechanism found only in commercial grade cable style four post lifts. The Double Lock Safety System is found exclusively on the Atlas Garage 408SL, Atlas Garage 409HP, Atlas Garage Pro 8000, the Atlas Garage Pro 9000, and the Atlas ST-7000. The Double Lock Safety System is designed to ensure that if a lifting cable becomes slack (for any reason), the secondary locking mechanism automatically engages. This Double Lock Safety System is found only on other four post above ground lifts costing hundreds of dollars more.

Lock Ladder Column Design - This Atlas Lift has a commercial grade lock ladder. We believe that the lock ladder system is the safest locking system for any four post lift. The lock ladder system also provides an infinite number of runway locking positions. The "old-style" welded locks could not be adjusted. The lock ladder is adjustable inside the column so that our customers can "micro-manage" the correct runway height to accommodate any vehicle. The "lock ladder" column system is the same column system found on professional grade lifts found in car dealerships and automotive service centers.

Hidden Cables In Cross Tubes - This lift features a high strength cable system with horizontal cables that are "hidden" inside the cross tubes. Professional grade wheel covers are used to eliminate almost all exposure of cables and double lock system. The high strength cable system is powered by a 110 volt (single phase) power unit to raise and lower the lift. Many competitors use an "old style" chain lifting system with an exposed hydraulic cylinder system. Old style chain lifts are difficult to "level" properly and the exposed hydraulic cylinder is responsible for numerous "door dings".

Motor Mounting Configurations - The column you mount the power unit on can be installed in any one of the four corners of the lift. This gives you greater control of where you position your power unit.

Special Bends In Columns - All columns incorporate two special bends which help to increase the column strength. These strategic bends also increase the surface area for the slide block to travel.

Wider Access Between Runways - There is a wider access area between the runways than many other hobby lifts.

Includes Approach Ramps - The included steel approach ramps can be easily removed by raising the lift to waist height, then lifting the ramps out. Each steel approach ramp weighs 46 lbs.

Includes Heavy Duty Jack Tray - The sturdy jack tray allows for the use of floor jacks or bottle jacks to raise part of any vehicle positioned on the lift. The versatile Jack Tray is also great for holding tools when working under a vehicle or as a catch tray when changing fluids or replacing parts. The jack tray features a heavy duty design for safe, reliable support. The jacking tray can also be easily moved from one end of the lift to the other so you can position it where necessary for each job.

Atlas RJ-35 Hydraulic Sliding Center Jack

The Atlas RJ-35 (3500 lbs. capacity) sliding hydraulic vehicle jack is designed for use on hobbyist lifts with no welded slide on runways. Glide blocks under extension ears allow the jack to be positioned under correct lifting point of vehicle.

The Atlas RJ-35 (3500 lbs. capacity) sliding hydraulic vehicle jack is the perfect choice for the owner of the Atlas Garage Pro 8000. The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack will also fit the Atlas Garage Pro 9000. The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack is for those who want to perform wheel service on a vehicle that is positioned on top of their four post lift.

The complete Atlas Garage Pro 8000 four post lift comes with a jack tray. The jack tray has certain limitations that are eliminated by using the Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack. The jack tray (with a small floor jack or jack stands) will support ONLY THOSE LIFTING POINTS of the raised vehicle that are between the runways of the Atlas Garage Pro 8000 four post lift. The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS (that are located over the runways of the four post lift) of the vehicle allowing the operator to access many more LIFTING POINTS than just using the jack tray.

The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increase the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack sliding hydraulic jack to raise pick up trucks that will sit higher on the runways than the average passenger car. The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack is operated by a manual hydraulic pump (porta-power pump) and does not require an air compressor for power. The Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack sliding hydraulic jack also features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the RJ-35 Sliding Jack is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack).

Finally, the versatile Atlas RJ-35 Sliding Jack is adjustable to fit between the runways of many of the other four post lifts that have been sold in the last several years.
