The Atlas Air Force AF10-3PH operates between 145-175 PSI. This model comes standard with a USA made 120-gallon horizontal steel tank and also includes a magnetic starter. The magnetic starter controls the electric input and adds to the longevity of the unit. All Atlas AF10 models come standard with the Plus Package. The Plus Package features for our commercial grade two stage air compressors include an Automatic Low Oil Monitor, Automatic Tank Drain, and Air-Cooled Aftercooler. Plus Package: This version of our popular Atlas Air Force AF9 includes an Automatic Low Oil Monitor, Automatic Tank Drain, and Air-Cooled Aftercooler. These three features help to extend the life of your Atlas air compressor while also delivering "better air".

Air Cooled After Cooler: The after cooler reduces the temperature of the pressurized air before it enters the air tank of your Atlas Air Force air compressor. When the temperature of the compressed air is lowered, there is less moisture the tank and in the air being used from the tank. Moisture is the enemy of all air powered tools. The Air Cooled AfterCooler and the Automatic Tank Drain help to solve this problem. Key Word: AUTOMATICALLY!

Automatic Tank Drain: Although you promise yourself that you will drain your compressor once a week; you will not. The automatic tank drain removes the excess water from your air tank many times every day. Key Word: AUTOMATICALLY!

Low Oil Monitor: Do you wait for your oil light to glow on the dash of your automobile before you add or change oil? Did you promise yourself that you would check your air compressor's oil level every month? The low oil monitor automatically "shuts down" your air compressor in the event that the oil in the compressor pump falls below a safe level. Key word: AUTOMATICALLY!

Magnetic Starter: The Magnetic Starter is the "thinking cap" for the motor of the air compressor. Magnetic starters are electromagnetically operated switches that provide a safe method for certain motors to be started under a large motor load. The overload relay inside the magnetic starters will prevent the supply voltage from energizing the motor if the starter detects a motor overload situation. Heaters (in series) are responsible for allowing current to reach the motor (and start it) or prevent the current from reaching the motor (preventing a motor failure). Magnetic starters will allow a motor (when properly sized to the compressor pump) to operate at a 100% duty cycle. A heavy-duty pressure switch can also be used (with some motors) to mimic the actions of a magnetic starter.

Oil Drain Extension Tube: The oil drain extension tube allows you to easily drain the oil in the air compressor.

Vibro-Isolation Pads: When the compressor "starts up", there is a vibration created which puts a stress on the legs of the air tank. The pads absorb the vibration and prevent damage to the weldment between the tank and the legs.
