If you are using the Challenger 9,000 or 7000 pound capacity home storage four post car lifts for purposes of storing one vehicle over another, then this accessory is for you. It fills the gap in between the runways so the car up above won't drip down on the auto down below. Sure, maybe your car doesn't leak now, but who knows in the future? It's better to be safe than sorry. The set of 4 covers approximately half the runway length. That's usually sufficient for most cars, because most automobiles usually only leak from the engine compartment, if they leak at all. But if your car does have the occasional drips of fluid from various locations, you may want to consider getting two sets of drip trays. These drip trays are not for supporting weight. They are strictly for the occasional fluid drips you may have with a classic car or antique automobile.
