APEX 24" Lightweight Foam Tire-Saver Ramp Kit
1.5" Lift / 9° Approach Angle / Set of 4
The APEX 24" Lightweight Foam Tire-Saver Ramp Kit is built to keep your tires round, healthy, and off cold concrete during storage. Each 24 inch ramp has a gentle 9 degree approach and a wide, contoured cradle that supports the tire's natural shape instead of flattening it against the floor. You get a full set of four lightweight ramps, so every wheel is protected. Roll on, park, and know your performance car, classic, truck, or SUV will sit cleaner and come off storage with tires ready to drive.
APEX Tire-Saver Ramps For Vehicle Storage
APEX tire-saver ramps are built for one job: keep your tires healthy while the car sits. Instead of parking directly on cold concrete and letting the sidewalls flatten over weeks or months, you roll onto a wide, contoured cradle that supports the tire’s natural shape. The lightweight structural foam design makes each ramp easy to move and store, while the textured coating grips your garage floor and stays gentle on finishes. For performance cars, classics, and rarely driven vehicles, APEX tire-saver ramps are simple insurance against flat spots and storage damage.
Stop Letting Storage Flatten Your Tires
If your car sits for weeks or months at a time, your tires are taking a hit whether you see it or not. Cold concrete, static load, and modern low profile sidewalls are a bad combo. The 24" Lightweight Foam Tire-Saver Ramp Kit from APEX is built to stop that from quietly beating up your tires while the car is parked.
Instead of letting the tire squash into the floor, each ramp gives it a wide, contoured cradle with 1.5 inches of lift and a gentle 9 degree approach. You drive on, the tire settles into a supportive pocket, and the load spreads across more of the sidewall and tread. Over long storage, that simple change helps reduce flat spotting, sidewall stress, and the thump you feel the first few miles after a car has been sitting.
APEX Shape That Matches How Tires Actually Work
A lot of tire savers are just blocks with marketing copy. APEX takes the shape seriously. The 24 inch length makes it easy to line up and roll onto, while the cradle area is shaped to follow the curve of a loaded tire instead of fighting it.
That contour is important. By lifting the tire slightly and supporting more of the sidewall, the ramp helps the tire keep a rounder profile while it sits. Less concentrated load at the contact patch means less deformation over time. For performance rubber, soft compound tires, classics that sit all winter, or collector cars that move a few times a year, that support is cheap insurance.
Low Car Friendly With A 9 Degree Ramp
Tire savers are useless if your car cannot get onto them. The APEX tire-saver design builds a 9 degree approach into each piece so even low noses and splitters can roll up without drama. You do not need to jack the car, stack lumber, or do a weird dance with boards and blocks. You just drive slowly forward until each tire settles into its cradle.
Because the ramps are only 1.5 inches high, they add protection without turning your garage into a maze. You still open doors, walk around the car, and work near the wheels without tripping over tall obstacles.
Lightweight Structural Foam, Serious Support
At the core of every APEX tire-saver ramp is a high density structural foam body. It is solid, not hollow, and engineered to support real vehicle loads without crushing or taking a permanent set under typical storage conditions.
The advantage is simple. You get a ramp that feels substantial under the tire and does not sag into a useless block over time, but it is still light enough that you can move all four pieces with no effort. Carry them with one hand, stack them on a shelf, throw them in a trailer, or take them to a storage unit without thinking twice.
Tough, Textured Surface That Plays Nice With Your Floor
The structural foam is wrapped in a durable, textured coating that does two things. It shields the foam from abrasion, spills, and normal garage punishment, and it provides a grippy surface that stays put on concrete, epoxy, and most sealed floors.
That means the ramps are designed to stay where you aim them as you roll on. No skating across the floor, no sliding away as the tire climbs. The coating is non marring, so it will not gouge finished floors, and it is easy to wipe down if it picks up dust, tire dressing, or road grime.
Four Ramps, All Corners Protected
Some products try to sell you on protecting only the driven axle. APEX ramps does not cut that corner. The 24" Lightweight Foam Tire-Saver Ramp Kit comes as a full set of four ramps, so each tire gets the same treatment. That means a more consistent stance in storage and more even tire behavior when you take the car back out.
Whether you are parking a sports car, a classic, a truck, or an SUV, putting all four tires on matching cradles is simply the right way to do it. The car sits level, the load stays balanced, and you are not asking two tires to do a different job than the others.
For Cars That Matter Enough To Store Right
If your car is just transportation, you might not care what the tires feel like after a long sit. But if it is a performance car you actually enjoy driving, a classic you are trying to preserve, or a truck or SUV you keep in top condition, you notice when the tires feel wrong.
The 24" Lightweight Foam Tire-Saver Ramp Kit from APEX is for people who care enough to fix that. Roll on when you park for the season, or anytime the car is going to sit for more than a few weeks. When you roll off, the steering feels more normal, the tires feel less square, and you are not throwing away rubber that died mostly from sitting still.
Who Is This Product Best For?
- Performance car owners who park for weeks or months and want to protect expensive tires
- Classic and collector car owners who store vehicles over the winter or between shows
- Truck and SUV owners who want to prevent flat spots during seasonal or occasional use
- Enthusiasts with low cars who want a tire saver they can actually drive onto without jacking
- Anyone who wants an APEX level solution instead of parking directly on cold concrete
Protect The Only Contact Patch That Matters
Your tires are the only thing touching the road. When a car sits for too long on bare concrete, the same patch of tread and sidewall takes all the abuse. APEX tire-saver ramps spread that load across a shaped cradle and lift the tire slightly off the floor. Over time, that means less deformation, fewer vibrations after storage, and less wasted rubber from tires that aged out mostly from sitting still.
Storage For Performance Cars, Classics, Trucks, And SUVs
APEX tire-saver ramps are not just for low sports cars. They are sized and shaped to support a wide range of passenger tires, from performance rubber to classic car sizes to modern truck and SUV fitments. A low approach angle lets you roll on slowly without dragging front lips, and once the tires settle in, the car sits level and supported at all four corners. Whether you store for the winter or only drive a vehicle occasionally, you get a more controlled way to park.
Lightweight, Clean, And Easy To Live With
The structural foam core keeps each APEX tire-saver ramp light enough to move with one hand, so you do not dread setup or teardown. The textured, non marring coating plays nice with epoxy, sealed concrete, and typical garage floors, and it wipes clean if it picks up dust or dressing. Stack them on a shelf when not in use, drop them in front of the tires when you are ready to park, and you have upgraded your storage routine in about thirty seconds.
Tire-Saver Ramp FAQs
When do I actually need tire-saver ramps?
If a vehicle sits for more than a few weeks at a time, especially in colder temperatures or on bare concrete, tire-saver ramps are a smart idea. They are particularly useful for seasonal cars, collector vehicles, and performance cars running softer compounds.
Do APEX tire-saver ramps replace proper tire care?
No. They complement it. You should still store cars at proper pressure, avoid excessive UV exposure, and follow the tire manufacturer’s guidelines. APEX ramps simply reduce the stress on one small contact patch while the car sits.
Will my low car clear the ramps?
APEX tire-saver ramps use a mild approach angle and only 1.5 inches of lift, which works well with many low and performance oriented vehicles. As always, roll on slowly the first time and verify clearance with your specific splitter or front lip.
Are these only for indoor use?
They are optimized for garage and shop environments on solid, clean surfaces. Occasional outdoor use on smooth concrete is fine, but long term exposure to rough surfaces, gravel, or harsh weather is not recommended.
Can I use them with trucks and SUVs?
Yes, as long as your vehicle weight and tire size fall within the published ratings for the specific APEX tire-saver model. Many trucks and SUVs benefit from reduced flat spotting just as much as sports cars.
New Race Car Ramps Just Rolled Into Town.
Ultra-lightweight APEX ramps for trailers, lifts, garages and storage. Built for low cars and people who actually wrench.
One Idea. Four Ways To Use It
APEX ramps solve the same problem in different places - on the trailer, in the garage, on the lift and when the car sits for a while.
From The Lift People. For The Ramp Problem.
APEX is born inside the same group that builds BendPak car lifts. That means these ramps were sketched on shop floors, tested under real cars and refined around real frustrations. APEX ramps are not just an accessory. They are part of a system. The missing piece between the floor, the trailer and the lift your car already trusts.
All The Strength. None Of The Struggle.
Steel ramps are strong but heavy. Aluminum is lighter but still a fight. APEX ramps use a solid, lightweight high-density EPS structural foam core that changes the math. The foam core spreads weight through the body instead of concentrating it at thin contact points. The outer skin is a tough, textured coating that locks to the core and grips tires and floors. Don't dread the setup. Grab an APEX ramp, drop it where it belongs and get on with the work.
What's Inside Every APEX Ramp?
APEX ramps are not painted mystery foam. Each one is a composite: a high density expanded polystyrene core locked inside a sprayed polyurea elastomer shell. The chemistry is overbuilt for what you do to ramps in the real world.
Polyurea Coating On The Outside
The outer shell is a two component polyurea elastomer sprayed directly onto the foam. Isocyanate and amine react in milliseconds to form long chains of urea linkages that crosslink into a dense, rubber tough skin. That chemistry gives you high tensile strength, very high elongation and serious abrasion resistance in one layer.
The coating wets into the EPS surface while it cures, so it does not sit on top like paint. It keys into the core and locks on, which is why you can drag APEX ramps across concrete, load on them all weekend and not watch the shell peel away.
- Fast cure time for a seamless shell around the core.
- High elongation and impact resistance for dropped tools and curb hits.
- Micro textured finish that grips tires and typical shop floors.
- Excellent resistance to oil, fuel, coolant and most common shop chemicals.
High Density Expanded Polystyrene On The Inside
The core starts as styrene beads that are pre expanded with steam, then fused under heat and pressure into a solid block. At the densities APEX uses, expanded polystyrene behaves like a structural foam: rigid enough to carry heavy loads, light enough to move with one hand and stable across real temperature swings in trailers and garages.
Closed cell structure means the beads trap gas rather than water. The core does not soak up moisture, does not rust and does not slowly turn to mush if you park on it for long stretches. Compression is distributed through the whole block instead of one thin wall, which is why APEX ramps feel planted when you drive onto them.
- High compressive strength relative to weight for real vehicle loads.
- Closed cell construction that resists water ingress and freeze damage.
- Dimensionally stable across typical shop and trailer temperatures.
- Acts as a damping layer so ramps stay quiet under the car.
Two Materials Working As One.
Put together, the EPS core and polyurea shell give APEX ramps a solid core feel with a tough, grippy surface that holds up to trailers, lifts and low cars that actually get driven.
