Ranger QuickJack 6000ELX Super Long Portable Car Lift System
6,000 lbs. Lifting Capacity 24.5" Lifting Height 86.75" Frame Length
The QuickJack 6000ELX Super Long Portable Car Lift System is recommended for use with EVs and vehicles with extra-long wheelbases. Bearing the distinction as the most unique lift in our lineup, the ELX is significantly longer than our EXT offerings because it was made to fit EV vehicles with extra-long wheelbases. Until now, only two-post lifts and four-post lifts with the assistance of rolling bridge jacks have been able to accommodate such vehicle types. Not every shop or garage has the space or willingness to give up that much flooring. With a 6,000-lb. capacity, our ELX will breezily handle luxury EV sedans that feature OEM jack points at the extreme edges of the vehicle chassis. Detailers and full-service auto shops will be seeing more and more of these EVs in the future, so they need to be ready!

Description

Ranger QuickJack 6000ELX Super Long Portable Car Lift System
6,000 lbs. Lifting Capacity 24.5" Lifting Height 86.75" Frame Length
The ELX has the distinction of being our only car lift series to feature a single model. Its frames are super-long, even longer than our extended-length TLX series. This frame length is ideal for extremely long wheelbases, so this model fits virtually all contemporary EV cars, including top-end, luxury electric vehicles with lift points that run to the extreme edges of the vehicle frame. QuickJack's cantilevered frames are specially designed so they won’t rub against your vehicle's tires as they rise. And since every QuickJack is a premium QuickJack, you get the same open-center car lift design and rolling portability of our TL and TLX models. Of course, it also comes standard with automatic safety locks.
But Seriously, Why?
The TL car lift series fits 90% of our customers’ needs. The TLX series covers most other vehicles. That leaves 1 - 2% of long-wheelbase cars not covered by QuickJack. Strictly from a business perspective, we could probably get away with leaving our product offerings alone and just say, "Good luck," to those we can’t service.
But that’s not us.
Everyone should have the ability to work on all their cars, professionally or otherwise. We know the future is here, and the future includes an incoming tide of fully electric (EV) vehicles with long wheelbases/lift point spreads. As the market stands today, there are no options for raising some of these vehicles without a full-size four-post. The 6000ELX is the only car lift, including scissor lifts and pit lifts, with a lift point spread that’s long enough to get the job done.
As luxury EV vehicles become more commonplace, we know auto shops and garages are going to need a portable/compact lift to work on these cars. Not every shop has a four-post or two-post, and smaller shops, such as many privately owned auto detailing shops, might not be able to fit one in their space. That’s why they get scissor lifts and low or mid-rise lifts. Unfortunately, super-long-wheelbase vehicles can’t be raised by these lifts. That’s what makes the BL-6000ELX so unique. It also has a robust weight capacity to handle electric sedans, which tend to be heavier than comparably sized gas-powered cars. With a lift point spread that’s longer than the frame length of a TL model, we sincerely doubt you’ll find a vehicle that’s 6,000 lbs. or under with a wheelbase too long for this lift (outside of semi-trucks, commercial buses/mass transit vehicles, etc.).
ELX Super Long Car Lift Design
The 6000ELX portable car lift is a full 17" longer than the TL model and about 10" longer than the TLX model (comparison below). While the frames are longer and a little heavier than other models, they’re still convenient to roll around your garage or shop, thanks to the durable urethane construction of the wheels.
TL Minimum Lift Point Spread: 29.5"
TLX Minimum Lift Point Spread: 35.5"
ELX Minimum Lift Point Spread: 53"
TL Maximum Lift Point Spread: 60"
TLX Maximum Lift Point Spread: 66"
ELX Maximum Lift Point Spread: 76"
TL Overall Frame Length: 69"
TLX Overall Frame Length: 76"
ELX Overall Frame Length: 86"
What's the difference between the NEW TL Models vs. SLX Models?
The biggest difference between the 5000TL and BL-5000SLX is the lifting height, which has increased 3 inches. This provides ample room to perform all the common vehicle maintenance tasks and allows you the capability to perform even the most complicated repairs.
Overall dimensions have remained the same, so you'll continue to benefit from what made QuickJack so popular in the automotive community and that is it's super-low 3" lowered height. The minimum lifting point spread did change from 31.5" to 37", but this will not make a difference to the vast majority of 5000TL users.
Extended Lift Point Spread
With a lift point range of 47.5" - 76", there isn’t much the ELX can’t handle. Its minimum range covers most sports cars, sedans, light-duty trucks, etc. Its maximum range makes it one of the only - if not the only - car lift that can lift vehicles with the longest wheelbases on the consumer market.
Automatic Safety Locks
Features dual-position automatic safety locks on each TL frame. As the frames rise, these locks glide securely into place at mid-rise and full-rise. Disengage with a simple flip of the lock bar and your car lift is ready for a smooth descent.
Increased Lifting Height
QuickJack TL models are capable of lifting an extra 3-inches making it easier to perform vehicle maintenance tasks that are both routine and more involved. The extra room gives you more ability and versatility under the vehicle, while doing so in added comfort.
One-Handed Operation
By holding the pendant control in one hand, your other hand is totally free. No cranking or bending during lifting.
Accessories To Increase Versatility
Most QuickJack accessories were developed from customer suggestion and need. We offer many different lifting options and configurations to customize your QuickJack experience to fit your needs and specifications.
Extended Block Trays
We increased the size of our rubber block trays to improve access to varied lift points. Position blocks from 26.75" - 50.5" apart, satisfying most lift point spreads.
Zero-Leak Fittings
Our car lift components include flush-face hose fittings to ensure fluids stay in the unit and not on your garage floor. You don't want to be the one to leak all over the track, either.
Open-Center Design
Don't let us get in your way! Inspired by larger frame-engaging car lifts, our open-center design gives users total access to the wheels and undercarriage.
Using QuickJack
The QuickJack portable car lift is an extremely versatile tool unlike any you've ever seen. It features a completely open-center design, durable built-in wheels, rapid 30-second rise and heavy-duty lift capacities up to 7,000 lbs. The other standout feature is that QuickJack is a frame-engaging lift, so unlike other portable models, QuickJack allows you to perform full wheel service with the use of stands.
Professionals and DIY'ers alike will find QuickJack to be an incredibly useful tool. In the sections below, we've compiled just a small number of uses, testimonials and case studies to get your imagination going. If you need to work on a car, QuickJack has a solid place in your life. If you give it some thought, you'll probably think of something we haven't!
Residential
The most widespread use of QuickJack comes from homeowners using it as their primary garage lift. Most families don't have room for a standing in-ground auto lift, and anchor bolts are out of the question for some folks. QuickJack is more than just a mere alternative or "compromise." It's actually every bit as effective as the big hydraulic lifts that have come before it. There are tens of thousands of proud QuickJack owners to attest to that.
Auto Repair Shops
Even though virtually every auto shop in the world has at least one two-post lift to service vehicles, there are always more customer cars than there is space for equipment. In this case, it helps to have a portable car lift that works as a mobile backup or overflow lift. Roll it around very quickly, indoors or outdoors, and don't lose business just because your other lift is occupied. QuickJack is also useful in the event your main hoist is down for service.
Auto Detailing
It didn't happen overnight, but professional detailers were quick to get on the QuickJack bandwagon. It's so easy to maneuver around the shop, and it gets up to the perfect height for detailing work. This doesn't just apply to the pros, though. Home users will enjoy that QuickJack can get wet (go ahead and disconnect the power unit while you work, as long as the locks are in place). This means power washing, and fine detailing can be done with the vehicle lifted to a more ergonomic height.
Mobile Auto Repair
Nobody's schedule is getting easier, especially if you work at an office all day. Folks can use their precious days off babysitting their cars in the shop, or they can call you, a bonafide vehicle repair expert, to come right to their place of work and handle business in the parking lot while they earn that bacon. This is a major application for QuickJack that's still just being recognized. Mobile repair businesses need a portable lift to stay safe while they operate on hundreds of different vehicles, day in and day out.
Race Track Lift
QuickJack is the ultimate race track tool. When you're having a blast on track day drifting, timing your quarter or just seeing how fast your brand-spanking-new Z06 can maintain its top speed before petering out, chances are you're going to want to pull over for a tune-up or wheel swap. QuickJack eliminates the time otherwise spent jacking up a car. If there's no outlet nearby, a 12V DC power unit will run off your car's battery for total convenience. The frames are also lightweight and easy to transport in the trunk or backseats of many vehicles.
How It Works
QuickJack will make your garage life safer and more efficient. It will eliminate the corner-by-corner you perform with floor jacks during every tire rotation. There will be no more stressing over how much torque you're applying during brake changes. Sliding under cars for suspension work, oil changes, exhaust system swaps, detailing, etc. will all feel safer, and jobs will take less time. Even detailing jobs will be performed ergonomically and rapidly. As car buffs and gearheads ourselves, we hold one truth above all others: The best way to work is the only way to work.
Setup
QuickJack is easy to set up - no time-consuming installation procedures. After that initial setup, the frames and power unit would need to be accessible at any time (with the appropriate power supply at hand). QuickJack is easy to operate anywhere: indoors and on virtually any flat surface, all without the use of anchor bolts.
Operation
Second, QuickJack would have to be as easy to use as a full-sized car lift without taking up a lot of space. Since this is what floor jacks and jack stands accomplish, in order to be successful, our hydraulic lift would have to be safer, faster and easier to use on a daily basis. It would also need to offer complete access to the vehicle's undercarriage.
Storage
Last, QuickJack would need to be easy to take out of storage and to put away. It would need to be heavy-duty enough to lift most consumer vehicles yet light enough to glide on built-in wheels. If necessary, an operator should be able to carry the frames to and from the desired work area.
Never Buy Cheap Lifts
There are full-size car lift options out there for under $1,500. But should you trust them? You're sacrificing a lot when you pay that little for something so important. We'll break down what you're getting and why you should reconsider before making an investment you might come to regret.
QuickJack... or Car Lift?
When we talk about QuickJack as a portable car lift, we compare it to car jacks and jack stands. QuickJack is not meant to replace two-post lifts or four-post lifts. If you're in the market for a full-size car lift, you need room around the lift to spare. Living situations factor into whether you want something permanent or portable.
QuickJack is the average car guy's or gal's dream. It's fast and safe, and it's essentially zero-footprint when stowed away. If you want a full-sized car lift, our parent company BendPak makes the safest, most rugged car lifts you're going to find.

Customer Testimonial -
"I assembled and used your BL-3500 Quick Jack lift, even after my recent back fusion, and I have recommended it to Slingmods.com, and given them your contact information. This doesn't match their recommended lift points in the manual, but gees, it's a tubular frame and you just have to get it forward enough to get the job done. I've attached a pic, and you can slide the tubes further back and get entirely underneath the slingshot with this lift and a creeper, with plenty of room to work. I used the 2 inch blocks, but I think the 4 inch block, probably up front, would work better. I've attached a pic, which I also sent to Slingmods.com, in the hopes that more people would use this lift. Many of their mods either require that you get under the vehicle, or the forward tilting hood is a real back killer, but not when you raise the vehicle with this lift. Thanks for your advice."
